HELP! Can’t find suitable replacement for beloved lost newsboy hat!

I can’t seem to find a hat anywhere that is the same as the one in these pics of me:

I lost that hat which I got at Urban Outfitters years ago and miss it dearly. I bought several replacements but none really suffice:

The main thing missing from all the replacements I found is the large baseball cap type bill.
It seems all of these Newsboy and Ivy hats have very shorts bills that hardly stick out at all.
I saw one hat with a longer bill but it was an ugly colored plaid. I want solid olive/tan/khaki.

Any idea if this type has a special name or where I can find one like it?

Howdy and welcome, and sorry about your cap. Unfortunately, I know nothing about caps, but folks around here are more likely to see established threads.

The cap fellows tend to hang out over in The Cap Faction so if you ask again there, you might get more luck. You also should try just browsing through that thread, because there is a lot of good info and a lot of different caps. Also, a good place for small questions about hats is the Ask a Question, Get and Answer thread.

Yep,the OP's cap looks like this one.... but with the top pushed forward and sewn to the bill. You might want to give Ralf (714-403-59120) a ring and see if he can make it happen.

I have a hat exactly like that one, and a black one, too. I've never worn the black but this one's seen a ton of wear. I can't remember the make, I'll look inside it to see.

Hanna Hats will make a newsboy with a longer visor just for the asking and at no additional charge. Just tell them the measurement you want in the comments section during the ordering process.
