Yes, it has been a LONG time since I have visited the lounge. Some of you that have been here a while may remember me. Sad to say, a lot has changed in my life over the past year and I am going through a divorce. I am hoping that some of you may be able to help me or possibly let me help someone by assisting me in finding new homes for the hats that I have collected over the past few years. The thought of listing each one on ebay gives me a migraine Ugghhh. Any tips or ideas any of you have to offer would be GREATLY appreciated!! I will be happy to take pics and post along with sizes, etc. Thanks so much in advance for any help!! ~Dee

What is the size range of your hats? I haven't been on Fedora Lounge long enough to be comfortable with posting my email addy in a comment and I'm evidently too new to send a private message.

I am also sorry to hear about the difficult time you're going through. I wish you the best!

I'd also be happy to look through any item you would like to list, and if it helps, I'm personally keeping an eye out for a vintage Knox 40 grey in size 7 (or something similar in style). Feel free to send me a PM with anything you would like to get rid of, but it might also help you to find homes if you take a full group pic and see what specific ones people (such as myself) might be interested in and go from there. Just a thought, and best of luck with everything!

Hello, Dee! Sorry to hear of the upheaval in your life. (Though it may not seem like it now, this too shall pass away.)

A group pic or several would be a good idea. Personally I'm looking for something in a size 7/56 cm, maybe a tawny or cream, or a black, with a moderate (2.25" to 2.5") brim. Love the thin ribbons, but I'm not restricted to those only. Let us know.

I remember seeing postings of you with some fine lids, I agree with the guys here ... list them in the classifieds.
I haven't sold any there, but I've bought several and made some friends along the way.

If you've any large hats -- 62/63; 7 5/8-7 7/8 -- I'd be interested.

The classified would be the way to go, otherwise you will get inundated with people telling you their size and colors , brands, models etc etc that they want...

also if you list the brim width and crown height that would save you some time answering reply's with questions......

having gone through the big "D", I know your misery, it will take time, some sleepless nights, much frustration and anger, but after all is done, their is life after Divorce......

I wish you well in both the "D" and moving out your collection, I am sure the classifieds is the best way to start.....

Thank you. It's a difficult thing for me and him both, as well as our girls, but we are handling it the best that we can...
