Hold off! It’ll be 65 degrees before you know it. Buy some Buzz Ricksons officers chinos and think about heavy canvass again at labor day.
LOL. Yeah it could be. But it could also be negative 1000 in April.Hold off! It’ll be 65 degrees before you know it. Buy some Buzz Ricksons officers chinos and think about heavy canvass again at labor day.
Some other MIUSA brands you might consider are Left Field NYC, Railcar, Freenote Cloth, and Ciano Farmer. Ciano offers up some heavier fabrics, i think up to 30 oz.
Got it...probably have to bite the bullet and pony up...I looked at the duluth pants but I don't care for the strange diamond shaped gusset they put at the crotch...
I can't speak for the Duluth design, but I've had both rock climbing and work pants with an extra piece of material in the crotch for added flexibility range. In all cases, I've liked it a lot. It's a smart design and addition. I wouldn't hesitate to buy such designed and styled pants.Got it...probably have to bite the bullet and pony up...I looked at the duluth pants but I don't care for the strange diamond shaped gusset they put at the crotch...
I just wanted to be clear about which these were. I believe they are the Gung Ho Camp Trouser. I would like to look further into them. Which link is for these, because I didn't find any photos that looked like them. Thanks. I don't think I quoted correctly. The photos I wanted you to confirm aren't showing up. I'm asking about the three photos of the Gung-Ho brown canvas with the waist adjuster tab and button-down fly.
I ordered a custom spec’d pair!I'd go with Ciano myself. Yes, you will wait a few months but the quality is outstanding and the fabric is exactly what OP is looking for.
I have a several pairs of their pants and a couple jackets. I'm a big fan.
Wilbur that is almost 500 mile round trip. At least it's all interstate unless you take the scenic route. Then it's almost 600 miles, including at least half the trip on winding mountain roads.Hmmm Bristol, TN.... Now that's definitely a motorcycle ride!!!! Some of their items look pretty decent!
I just copy and pasted my Iron heart numbers into the fields. Front and back rise were within 1/2”. Bummer to hear about the wait time though...I once ordered a pair of Ciano Farmer's too. They took MUCH longer even than the long time advertised. A great price though, and seem very well made. Alas, they were TOO heavy for me. The thickest canvas pants I have ever had. Couldn't wear them. I also seem to recall that the rise was very low, or something that put the fit off for me. But hopefully you'll have better luck all around.
Yikes!Ciano does a great job but my wait was 7 months. Hopefully after moving his shop to Dallas he’ll be able to get his time estimates back in line. I will say that even with that extreme wait I would order again!
