Thanks! Capeskin in general is a bit stiffer and more durable than Lambskin, But still very soft. Much softer than Goatskin. Our Capeskin is chrome tanned like the original hides used. Chrome tanning provides a more durable surface. We tested our Capeskin with hot water treatments and even 3 trips through the tumble dryer at high heat. The jacket came out solid with no damage and some impressive grain development. It did shrink a bit but this was expected.
