A Bill Blass silk shirt that I can't remember where I picked it up, Salvation Army I think? It's got a course texture so I believe it's raw silk.

Killer score Bob H.
Pineapple juice makes some righteous reproduction patterns of old 40s and 50s designs.

Bama that BB is a good one, too. The graphics on it are super nice.

Thanks Bama and Dale. Dale -- thanks for that info. I looked up Pineapple Juice and saw many nice patterns.

I picked up this small Tori Richard this afternoon. I will have to move it on, but you don't leave real Hawaiian shirts in the thrift store when they are priced at $1.75. At least I don't...

Dang, too bad it's too small. That's a great looking pattern.

I hardly ever find Hawaiian shirts at the thrifties down here, and if I do they are always those cheap rayon walmart models that have been shrunk beyond recognition.

That is a really nice find, Bob.

As for the ladies bin.....leave no stone unturned. Earlier this year I scored a 1950s Borsalino fedora, my size even, for $5. It was shoved in with the ladies hats.

I love Hawaiian shirts. They're perfect for Southern California.

Not a Hawaiian shirt but I couldn't find another thread to post it on. A Nat Nast silk I picked off a discount rack at a men's store in Vegas some time ago.

That one's pretty killer. Nat Nast makes some nice ones, and I've seen a few on this thread. Loose, square cut, untucked casual shirt....they fall in the zone.
