Hello all,

I've been trying to post pictures of my hat from a CD into a message, but I can't get it to work. I keep getting failure messages. Any suggestions?

I have never been able to upload images either due to the same error message, so I host them remotely.

Are you...

uploading the pictures to web storage someplace? (snapfish, et al)
copying the image address where it is stored?
clicking the image button when posting and
pasting the image address?

Where do you get the error?

I tried for some weeks to get photos to show up here using Webshots as the location for my photos, but absolutely failed to make it work.

I opened a Photobucket.com account, and there is a convenient URL assigned to each photo. All the photos I have linked from there have worked using the Image icon provided in this forum. I recommend Photobucket.

Hey Lorne, this is the place to go. http://photobucket.com Create an account for yourself and use 'browse' to locate your photo on your harddrive or disc. That will upload it to your new PhotoBucket account. You then cut & paste the URL of that uploaded image onto the 'links' line after clicking the little blue 'links' icon underneath the white smiley face above the message box.

It seems confusing but it's actually quite simple once you've done it.
