Hats of other colors than black, gray or brown/tan?

The essence of taupe is that one never really can say just what color it is. That's the magic. I have a brace taupe hats that Gary White made for me; one tends toward greenish-tannish-gray...the other is a more rosy-tannish-grey, more like a grayish version of WWII officer pinks, if you can imagine.

Some beautiful hats! Seems whenever I find a decent to excellent shape fedora in my size at our local consignment stores they are *sigh* brown. I guess brown was a pretty popular color in the vintage world or...?

In fact the only fedora I have that is NOT brown is my vtg 60`s Resistol stingy in a dark/off green (which is also in the GREEN thread):

Nice looking hats Lloyd EXCEPTTTT I don't like the Rust colored hats much. Yours in the second one I've seen. The Last Best Hat company has a Custer hat shown on their sight in Rust and I disliked it on sight. I wasn't sure if it was the shape, 6 inch floppy brim and short crown, or what. It's definitely the color. The two greens look great, and incidentally would match most of my wardrobe. The Rust is just a bit too orange for my taste.
