Ames antique stores
Their were two antique stores on main and one coin shop that had antiques in the basement. The two small ones have been gone for years. Just south of town their was a couple who had a green house type business that also sold antiques in their barn. In october I rode my motorcycle to Ames to shop the antiques on main store. Upon arriving i found the building was being repurposed. So I crossed the steet to old main brewing to have a pint and investigate. There i was told they had been closed for some time. They were the only antique store left in ames. As far as i know.
It had been a quality store for years and it's dealers had a eye for the unusual.
