I am still lurking. Is the San Antonio OR silverbelly in the light grey range or does it have some brown tones to it?

Resistol's "silverbelly" has an earthy tone to my eye. Maybe even a hint of olive? Definitely darker than Stetson's silverbelly. I really like their version. I can snap a comparison shot for you this evening when I get home so you can better judge the color.

I have not tried to pounce the spot out but it is pretty shallow so I would think it would be a good candidate.

It's a nice hat in a relatively hard to find size.

My bad. Two Stratoliners. I pristine robin's egg blue one and a tan one. Lots of other great hats as well.

Wonderful hats....but alas.....too small for my pumpkin.

Still not great lighting, but Stetson silver belly is at the top of the photo and the Resistol is at the bottom.
