Growing up in Texas it was legal and common in rural areas to see little tikes sipping on Dads beer in the dance halls. Guess it was a holdover from days when there was a big European population here

No, I remember Taxi, and Andy Kaufman’s character. It always seemed that Taxi and M*A*S*H were alternating on constant repeat, 5:30 weeknights in New Zealand. I especially loved M*A*S*H.
