Cazcanes #10 Still Strength Blanco tequila. I’ll skip my opinion or review here but just say @ 108 proof it’s a bit hot so be sure to anesthetize your tongue & mouth with the first sip, should you try it.

While I haven’t posted a lot, I do continue to indulge. It was great to get a quality pour of Guinness a couple of weekends ago. Etsuko had a Yona Yona pale ale.
I was in a Panama
Etsuko was in one of her Toucan Collection hats.
Later on, at lunch…just a run of the mill Japanese beer. I don’t recall exactly what it was.
Today, I was grilling in my regular barbecue hot - the Akubra Cattleman, while sipping from a Margarita Etsuko made with fresh limes from our tree.
Followed up with a tasty Malbec.

Old Grand-dad bourbon.
I don’t often drink on a Monday evening, but this just arrived, and we were keen to have a taste…so, just the one. It packs a punch at 57%, but quite tasty.
After some respite from the heat and a day of straw, it’s another hot humid day, so back in straw…polypropylene straw, with my Akubra Capricorn.

couple of friends came over yesterday for a day of NFL football on TV. Among the snacks & drinks one brought a new bottle of Conejo Mezcal @ 84 proof. I enjoyed it best with lime juice to settle the smoky flavor some.

A couple of cap beverages.
A Surley Abrasive was a treat. This double IPA packs a flavor punch @ 9.2 ABV.
Tonight a Guinness was the choice. Windy and cool weather settling in overnight found the dry bitter and malt flavor to be the correct selection. I do need to stock up on some more Fall beers soon.
