The past couple of evenings I have been enjoying Four Peaks Hop Knot IPA's. This is an Arizona brewed IPA. I find it hoppy, fruity with a faint hoppy bitter finish. It is enjoyable in the cool weather. I do not believe that I would buy again. Balanced so well, it is not distinctive.

Cheers, Eric -

Omni FAD Hazy IPA has been my choice for the last couple of days. A slightly bitter orange citrus taste. Quite a juicy taste. I find it pairs with the outside weather well.

Of course as the day lengthen yesterday a Guinness was de rigor. I started putting a quick collage together and I added a pic of this mornings cold brewed coffee. A warm summer found me really enjoying cold brewed coffee. This trend has not ended with the cooler temps.

Cheers to all, Eric -

This Fresh Hop Ale went down a treat on Friday. Quite different to other beers from this brewery. It had a touch of spiciness that I enjoyed.

Barbecuing on Sunday and a friend left us the remains of his Teacher’s.

I find The Teacher’s eminently drinkable as a cheap quaffer. The wet hat at the back is my Akubra Cattleman. When it got too wet, it had to be swapped out for my Snowy River.
Relaxing out of the rain, we enjoyed some Caol Ila.

The peat is right up front in your face with this whisky.

Thanks for sharing. I have not encountered this whiskey yet. I took a moment this morning to listen to Ralfy's review. He did pronouce the name in a manner that demonstrated how I was butchering the name. I am intrigued by this whiskey owned by Diageo.

Thanks. Cheers, Eric -

If you’re anything like me, you’ll have forgotten the pronunciation by tomorrow!

For todays HH it was a Worth-Walden 15X over a few German Wethenstephaner Dunkels (new to me). Caramel based with some orange undertones on nose & pallet. Tart citrus on the aftertaste, like orange peel zest. I like this Dunkel.

& a pint of Boulevard Brewing’s Bob's ‘47 Oktoberfest, a German Marzen. If you’ve drank any of Bob’s ‘47 series then you know it’s pretty mild.
