That was yesterday. Today, I wore my Tula palm straw for the most part, but like the beer and wine, it eluded the camera. We relaxed later on with a Classic Laddie

Back to GC to see if I could make a small dent in those 70 gal of Hefeweizen, for a few pints & a couple growlers to bring home. Cooler evening than expected so I grabbed the Optimo again.

Back home the growlers went into the fridge for pre season NFL football this weekend. I grabbed an OR 3X in Dun & headed out to the veranda for some Cigar City Maduro Brown Ale, & some Black Magic Woman in a vintage W.O. Larson cherrywood pipe.

Cooler evenings this week have me enjoying walkabouts. Below is a collage that showcases (top l-r) some beer that I have imbibed. Founders Agave, Omni Brewing pilsner, Founders All Day IPA, Duluth's Bent Paddle Ale, Bent Paddle India Pale aleand Surley Supreme.

HH under a VS Playboy clone in Bluesmoke, with some Tex Mex & cheap margs.

Then home to open a new bottle of Flecha Azul Anejo.

Should be a good night for sky watching with the big full moon & the peak of the meteor shower @ 60 per hr.

Earned this heavy mug a while back & picked it up later. Finally dawned on me that it would make a great outdoor mug that easily holds two beers & keeps them cold. Been under this Stetson Shantung all day.

Great pics Alan. Your SBCD looks good & is serving you well. And what a great backdrop display of tequila! I recognize some bottles by their shape; Clase Azul, Don Julio 1942, Michael Jordan’s Cincoro for example. Indulge & enjoy your trip!

Thanks, HJ. I actually took those pics with you in mind. That hat is my Timex, it gets the most head time in the summer. I have 3 or 4 straws but I don’t enjoy wearing any of em. Except on the beach.

Not long after we built our house, we planted a lime tree. After five years, it’s finally bearing fruit.

At our previous house we had two lime trees, and picking your own limes off your own lime tree is a great feeling.

HH spent under a VS Playboy clone with some Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, & some Mean Mule Agave Spirits doubles on HH special. I had heard Mean Mule is best served in a cocktail. Strong medicinal alcohol on the nose & some cleaner-like aroma. Mild on the palate but no alcohol burn. Not much else. Turns to a cocoa/ mild chocolate aftertaste on the roof of your mouth. Definitely to be used as a mixer or a shooter.
