I DVRed it, Roger, and will watch it later today. Perfect timing for it to come on TCM, eh? :)

You said it! If we ever get out that way I am going to make it a point to stay in that room. Too cool. I don't know how I'm going to keep my wife from trying to take that couch though...she'll love that.

Mike, thanks!

Roger, I just finished Casablanca...wow...after the umpteenth time watching it...it just doesn't get any better than that movie.

If you get a chance, that hotel is really worth your trouble, just for the ambience. The service leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not sorry I have used that hotel twice, now. My wife...could be happier, service-wise. Let me know if you need details.

Perry that's great! About fifteen years ago I remember seeing something in a small market that was produced by Thirsty Dog, but it wasn't intended for human consumption-- it was beef flavored water for dogs. I wonder if it's the same company?

Yeps, nice shot of what looks like a good atmosphere.

It tastes pretty good for beef-flavored water.

Last week I celebrated with a Deschutes Abyss. It is dark Russan Imperial Stout. "Hints of molasses, licorice and other alluring flavors make it something not just to quaff, but contemplate." I sipped and enjoyed the stout with cheese, venison and Finn Crisps (hard crisp bread). More about the beer here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJIu0xr5l-Q#t=0 .

Sharing the pic is my vtg. Stetson Stetsonian.
