Last night Dennis Brooks black beaver with a refreshing Pinedrops IPA.

Lovely pic with a grand IPA. I have enjoyed the taste of Pinedrops this past summer. The taste of pine is what bought me in initially. I opened the bottle and got a whiff of the scent when pouring in a beer glass. It brought me back to our cabin in Northern MN. The smell brought back fond memories. We sold the cabin last summer and I miss many parts of the northern MN cabin experience. The pine woods, boundary waters area and environment being at the top. Ahhh, Pinedrops. Jeff, I will have add some Deschutes Pinedrops to my beer refrigerator.

Isn't it wonderful? I was looking everywhere for the Hundred Yard Dash IPA by Brau Bros., but couldn't find it. This is a more than worthy competitor. I prefer the piny ones to the citrus. There's something about them that seem to sooth the chops more after a long practice session. The brewed and fermented equivalent of Eucalyptus, or something.

Had several shots of Herradura Repo along with the house Margarita on this National Taco Day. But I'm back home now (expecting stormy weather but I wore my BGCD just in case) enjoying some Maestro Dobel Diamanté.
I've only had the Herradura Anjeo and it was enjoyable. I certainly really liked the MDD the one time I had a few glasses. I've always gone to the Añejos first cuz they are softer and smoother but Im starting to explore the repos cuz they're a bit kinder to my wallet and Im able to handle the edgier stronger tastes better as I drink more tequilas... ;)
