Been so windy today I’ve been wearing my BCD in case I have to chase it. It’s time for a few drams of Colkegan Mesquite 118 proof Cask Strength Single Malt.
I made margaritas to go with the shrimp tacos my wife is making for dinner. I used Tres Generaciones Reposado tequila and mixed them from scratch. So good! Wearing my Fed IV today.
It’s Tequila Thursday under a Stetson One-hundred.
I haven’t found a bottle of the Camerana’s 2020 La Loma agave harvest in some time now so that bottling must be sold out. I’ll be drinking my back stock sparingly.
Through an appreciative retailer I was finally able to get a bottle of Tequila Ocho Reposado aged in a Widow Jane Bourbon Select Cask @ 91 proof. The 2022 bottling was distributed in only 7 states, the retailer was able to get me one bottle thru her rep. I’ll be savoring this on Cinco de Mayo…maybe.
Tequila Ocho Plata from the late 2022 Cerro Del Gallo harvest is finally hitting shelves here, @ 80 proof.
Have been unable to find a bottle of Cascahuin Tahona Blanco so far but did score a bottle of Cascahuin Plata 48 @ 96 proof.
Good evening folks. A small while since I have posted. Illness, work, work travel and family business has had me away for a few weeks. Cheers to all the posters.
Tonight, the first in a long while I am out and about sipping a beer in the evening. I chose a beer that my co-worker sourced for me - A Bent Brewstillery Crandalorian. This hazy fruited sour tastes of cranberry, cherry and a hint of vanilla. It is a 6% abv beverage from a local, Roseville, MN small brewery. The label is cool!
