Howdy all!
I am going through my vintage hat collection and preparing to sell them...and one in particular made me think I should restore it and keep it rather than list it for sale (it is gorgeous and rare and would probably be my best hat if it fit and were restored)...a rust brown DePinna with the selv-edge/mode-edge/whatever you want to call it.
It is a little too small, the sweatband is coming out, there are some sweat stains, and a few (minor) moth bites. I'd also want it sized up slightly (I am a 7-1/8 and it is about a 7 right now).
Is there anyone out there who would do a project like this? Chicago area would be great but beggars can't be choosers.
