Hat Resolutions, 2013

I own some seven vintage fedoras, two great old rode-hard, put up wet cowboy hats, a wide brimmed straw western
style hat I purchased at a general store/gas station near Weedpatch south of Bakersfield and a couple of classic
news boy caps. I confess. I rarely wear any of them. 2013 I will. Wrote it down.
Giving myself four months to honor the above resolution. If I do, I plan to purchase a custom fedora fiscal cliff or no
fiscal cliff.
Any other resolutions out there?

I resolve to sell off my straw and my black stingy, give a warm welcome to my special edition Campdraft by giving it a beautiful crease, and wear my homburg more.
I'd say that I resolve to not buy hats this year, but we all know that's a lie!

Excellent resolution! But once you do, you'll resolve to get another, and another, and then maybe one with a bound brim, and then......

I have to sort through all the above options to pick my next, but I know my next won't be my last.

This upcoming year perhaps will be a real "dilly" for many of us bitten by the hat bug...having that knowledge merely makes me want to own all the wonderful hats I see posted all over the lounge.....but the reality is, I will continue to obtain a new hat, one hat at a time! A custom from Art is on the agenda, and the normal hat radar continues to show a blip on the screen now and then...full steam ahead, (is there any other way)?

I'm not hard to please... I have about a dozen Akubras (mostly Federations) on my want list, and a couple of others. If I manage two or three this year I will be happy.
