This is from the Lincoln Star in Nebraska, Feb. 27, 1955. I wonder how many perfectly good hats they ruined by tapering the crowns and cutting the brims?

Man this thread is awesome. I was looking at old ads the other day. After winning my stratoliner I was especially liking the one with the stewardess handing the two gentleman a hat. I need to look through here now and enjoy all the pics.

I came across this ad in a 1919 (long defunct) newspaper yesterday while doing research on an unrelated matter. I think it's an interesting insight into the flavor of hat wear at that time.
