I posted this in the "Wearing Today" thread, but it probably belongs here, too.

Man, Big E and Sue, Texas has it covered!

You both look great and I'm sure you are winning over the South to class head wear!

Keep up the good looks!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

So, did anybody besides me remember to wear your Derby/Bowler/etc. today?

Brad

I have to admit - to my gisgrace - I entirely forgot it. Wore an Open Road an a XXXXX Boraslino, tonight. However, one Bowler was in the car, at least :D

..... o.k. put one on just right now :)

Yep,

The first Friday snuck around again

Homburg here

Believe it or not, our WalMart was selling bright green derbies last week

Quality wasn't too good, but it got be to thinking ... should we all break out derbies and homburgs with a temporary green ribbon or at least a shamrock this year?

I don't go in for St. Patty all that much myself — Scotch, you know — but still it's a great way to get the quality hats aired out and in front of the public

Whadya think?[huh]

I like your spirit

We all can at least toss one on with a t-shirt to take out the trash, go to the store or just tell the wife good night

won't she wonder what's on our minds?

Happy International Derby Day, gang!:eusa_clap

I'm wearing one to go pick up a pizza in about half an hour ... just to keep the festivities rolling here at home:D

I forgot about this but I still managed to wear my Pallas Homburg. :)

Great lid

I see you're still enjoying winter sports there, too

so, what should we all do on St. Patty's Day?

Homburgs, derbies and shamrocks?

2nd of April and Friday!
By complete coincidence, I was wearing my midnight blue Saks Fifth Avenue homburg earlier (with casual clothes; it's actually pretty versatile!). No pics though, since I forgot and it's not a bowler anyway.

One of these days, I need to pick up a classically-styled bowler in my size (58 cm / US 7¼ / UK 7¹⁄₈); the key is finding one on eBay that has both the classic bell shape and isn't cracked/worn-out/misshapen/etc. [huh]
