+1 for me too HD - only shoes and belt in Texas, maybe for the next three months. You guys in the midwest are presently suffering heat that we in Texas must endure for up to 4-5 months of the year.

Yep in the 100's here in Tennessee too. Riding a good bit around the state but gear will be light....maybe I'll leave early in the a.m. and wear a jacket... No Fireworks here either.

While up north it is 96 plus degrees this fine day. A Nice breeze making it pretty comfortable for sitting outside sippin' a few and enjoying the music.

Shorts and a Carhartt T shirt. Got up to 76 degrees in Spokane. Next week into the 90s.
No FQHH today my friend but have a beer anyway....I'm buying!

I taught a police methods motorcycle class to some officers this morning. With temps creeping toward 100 on the range, a leather jacket, or a jacket of any kind, was the last thing on our minds. A bottle of water to pour on our overheated bodies was what we thought about. We'll start thinking of leather jackets when it cools down toward the end of September.

It was rather warm here in L.A. yesterday (at least after the early morning), so I wore some cotton twill chinos and a vintage, light-weight sport shirt. The only leather was my shoes and belt (sort of). No hat...

Later at night, I wore my Vanson Cafe Racer (vintage, don't know the model, it ain't inside on the tag and Vanson is mystified by it, I sent 'em a pic and they couldn't tell me the model) with custom front pockets. Had it on past midnight as I dodged drunks on the freeway. One guy came pretty close to side swipin' me as I rode by him on his left. Them's the breaks.

It's been in the mid 90s here. I still wear my full face helmet. On the 4th, after my ride, I had to put my helmet in the chair upside down to let it dry out! Suppose to be in the low 70s next week. I need to work on my Yamaha XS650 Bobber project, will have to resist temptation to ride. Saturday will be a sad ride, as the club rides to Pueblo to see one of our founding members at the Hospice!

We're having a blissfully cool Summer in England so far. Most of the last couple of weeks have not seen temperatures higher than 21C. Lovely. It's rained most of the past fortnight. I hope it dries up for as much of the weekend as possible (Chap Olympiad weekend this one), but otherwise I don't much mind the rain. It hasn't yet been warm enough to force me out of leather as an option. I spent Independence Day in a three piece suit, at Gatz, an outstanding theatre production of the unedited text of The Great Gatsby. Eight hours, including a couple of breaks. Truly wonderful. Yesterday I was in tweed. Today, blue collar workwear early fifties style, with a Highwayman. I'd hoped to spend some of this month in linen, but it is looking increasingly like I'll be in leather for the rest of the Summer.
