Today would have been Louise Brooks' 100th birthday. She spent her last years and is buried here in Rochester. If anyone is near by, there is a lecture and showing of some of her pics tonight at the Eastman House

Wow! I only recently got familiar with Louise Brooks, and her break out film "Pandora’s Box" is finally due out on DVD this November 28th? Not sure of the date but do know its this November, Happy Birthday Louise!!!

Brilliant writer, stunning actress, and impetuous woman-child all in one. Amazing.

(From the exact middle of the south edge of the rectangular Section 33S, walk north 4 rows and Louise Brooks will be on your right.)
