The big Halloween event in West Hollywood is perhaps more famous for its drag queens and such, but I found a pic of this gentleman with Dick Tracy duds, complete with yellow fedora.

Both had great vintage hats. I also had on a 40s Stetson Royal with a "PRESS" card stucl in the ribbon, but I was on the other side of the camera. We also had Irena Spalco with us. she statted out with a Russian Fur hat, but Indy insisted that was not correct to the movie, so Irena had to ditch the hat.

Matt,

Saw your group walking down Barre Street, your son had the biggest smile I saw all night! Everyone looked good and loungers should know that Matt pulled off a great "press" impression.

Well thanks! Ash loves Halloween, and so do I for that matter. I did not use the period correct camera, favoring digital instead, but i DO HAVE the correct camera, an Argus C44r is the correct period, though a profesional photographer at the time would have likely been using a Leica if he was shooting 35mm.

I would have stopped to introduce my wife, but you looked busy chasing down Indy! I had a vintage suit on and surprised her at work with some roses :)

Yeah, he was cold and in a hurry to get home, meanwhile I'd made a stop at the hardware store for a big bucket and a gallon of coleman fuel, so I had to book it to catch up to him. You just missed Jenny driving off with my new hat cleaning tank in her trunk.
