Halifax- The Herald building

The Herald building, built in the 'teens and subsequently remodeled, is coming down. It housed the Chronicle Herald newspaper until recently.

Was that the place with the Tim Hortons? Shameful that that's how it's familiar to me. Good bye, squarish monstrosity! Never again will I sip coffee in thy lower floor (assuming that is the locatin in question).

That's the big black building opposite it, visible in the righthand corner of the pictures. The tims is gone as of a couple weeks ago.
