A Borsalino in gray of which I have various versions and this is too tight. Don't ask me which gray Borsalino matches because I spent an hour comparing it with his gray "brothers" made in Alessandria without reaching a certain conclusion
Borsalino Qualità Superiore, size 6 which should correspond to 7 3/8 US but is much closer to 7 1/4
The hat is of excellent workmanship and can be dated to the 1980s
These are the dimensions: brim edged with a ribbon of the same color as the felt at 5.5 cm, the open crown is 14 cm. and the ribbon in contrast with the felt color is 3 cm.
The hat has been little used, can be seen from the inside that is perfect, but it has a small defect on the ribbon that can be seen on the second photograph.
The felt has a medium weight and it is malleable with ease.
