Being married to Leslie has taught me the true meaning of both grace and mercy. She is quite a devine gift.

Ok, Now we are starting to get beyond me here. ;) In deference to those who will not understand what we are writing, Big-T :p, I will respond in English---more or less. :D
Wow Bingstress! That is much better than I can do. I have never lived in Germany and I can only say that my brush with German is through public education. Two years is quite some time to adequately understand the language. I don't think you have lost much in the area of grammar in ten years. ;)
I can get by in a few different languages----meaning I can eat well in about four different countries. Conversation is another thing.

Regards to all,

JP,

I also had a brush with German in school, and I hated every minute of the way they taught it. I naturally thought that if I was going to have to go to language school, I would definately be riding the short bus.

LOL LOL

However, what I found out a couple of years later, is that if I was immersed into a culture and language, I could pick it really fast. I found this out while living in Japan. The langauage came almost naturally. I was also able to pick up Tagalog (filipino) really quickly as well.

All I know is that learning it from a text book wasn't going to do it for me.

I will leave you with the inspirational words from my Sumo coach.

"When in Loam, do as the lomans does."
