Green Leather Jackets

Hello everyone, I hope you've all been well. Today I was on a trucker jacket thread, and I steamrolled the conversation and steered it toward green jackets (and then sheepskin jackets). My apologies to everyone involved. Anyway, it got me thinking about green leather jackets in general. What do you guys and gals think of them, and do you own any? If so, let's see some pics! Below are ones that have caught my attention over the years from Lewis Leathers (sheepskin), Shangri-La (Badalassi steer), and Thedi (goat)

One of the coolest jackets I ever owned was an absolutely mint/perfect BRG Brimaco 742. I sold it in 2010 for $400. For whatever reason, at that time, they were sought after. Brimaco jackets are not exactly consistent in terms of quality and that sale price came at auction. In todays market it would likely sell for $200 or less.

I would pay $600 to get it back. Absolutely robust hide, thick and stiff, and the perfect shade of British Racing Green. Impossible to ever find again and despite having next to no interest in CR’s, that one I would love to have back.

Yes. I'm terrified of her. And if you think that's bad, then you should see what she does with the food on my plate at dinner. There's a reason I'm so thin.

My first thought was maybe not if it was your only leather jacket, but great as a second or third. But I reconsidered even as I was typing. Yeah, I like the greens. I do think I would only go for transparent color though, not so hot as an opaque top coat.

I love Thedi's dark olive green that looks sort of brown in some light as @torfjord posted. Another one I love is Freewheelers olive drab. It is much more brown, but definitely has green in it too.
