The shoe shine place at Millennium Station in Chicago has closed up shop & is being replaced with some sort of juice/smoothie bar.

It's quite the shame.

At Washington & Wells right around the corner from St Peter's Church is a shoe shine shop I passed yesterday.

The end of an era is coming when the Waldorf Astoria closes. Great shoe shine stand off the lobby, small room, two chairs, Rod delivers forceful shine and massage. Best there is. For guests he will come up to your room and give your shoes personal dedicated attention. We will miss this location when they close.
