And did you take a measure of the inseam? My brother's a 40-42, but he's 6'1" and needs a bit of length in the trousers.

I did not take a tape measure with me, but I expect to be there again soon, and will try to get as many details as I can. If it is any help, these aren't flying off the rack. the suits that are thee have been there for months that I know of.
I stopped at not being able to get the jacket on, so not sure about the length.
We spend hours in there on average, so I'll try to make it a habit to provide better specs, as I know these are hard-to-find items just sitting there waiting for a fit.
I will also say they had a few vintage fedoras, all too small for my fat head. Late 6's to early 7's on size. A few straws, a few (fairly beat up) felts, and one very nice bowler....
