@mendelboaz I believe Buco did not start making the J-24 in steer hide until the 60s. I would not worry about the stitching falling apart. I had a mid 60s J-100 I wore hard for over ten years. During those ten years, I had to restitch a small section of each shoulder seam. Wear it hard and enjoy

What do they mean by "inside of sleeves is leather lined at wrists"?
Are the sleeves leather lined all the way up to the stitch line that runs 10cm above the wrist?

@mendelboaz can you post a pic of the inside of the sleeve at the wrist level please, curious as to what they mean.
It's only the first inch. The Buco marketing department suggested something fancier than what it actually is :)

congrats! and thumbs up for everyone involved! also pre and post conditioner made a huge gain on how the leather looks. great fit and effortless looking with leather in that state of black and brown.

Phew... I was ready to call Stuart to complain about lack of original features on his J-23/24!

Stu, with his want to be silver tongue will find an excuse for his lack of observation. However, He does make an excellent product. What Stu has going for him is the person behind the sewing machine that puts it all together well. One part I do not like about his jackets is the lack of the correct belt. He loves to sell you his overpriced belt.

I have done some research and spoke to my friend who actually was making jackets in the late 50s. He mentioned that buco was a popular brand, but the quality was low. Also, he mentioned that buco only stitched the upper wrist to give the “appearance” of having a leather backing. However, for those including current makers like RMC and others do not actually lined the wrist with leather. Truly, I think that this step in manufacturing was not a good business decision for buco.
Personally, I think I was to make a repro I would include it in my design.
