Wormser Texan

Here's my Wormser Texan. Unfortunately I don't wear it much and I'm thinking of selling. But it is very nice felt, and I think old because it has an unreeded sweat, and oilcloth in back. It does have some mothing.

Optimo 1000 in Porcelain White, 100% beaver and I would call it a 100X (soft):

Optimo 1000 Porcelain white. White goes with just about any clothing color coordination.

Oh Boy, a chance to show off my two whites!

First, a Stetson - with my version of DTD (done with steam, not water):

That photo shows the original pug, which I kept for potential future use.

Here it is dressed with two different pugs, as a UT (orange & white) fan and as a 'Bama (crimson & white) fan:

relatively boring shot of the underside, may have that sweatband replaced at some point, but it is still functional for now.

I eventually landed a white fedora, will do a separate post for it.

Here is a Barcelona 'Stately' fedora, sweatband says it is a beaver blend:

brim is a full 3 inches, provides a lot of shade on game day.

Dressed out for a 'Bama fan:

Notice the 1.5 tear drop crown - not quite enough felt to support a full DTD!

Dressed up for a home game at Neyland Stadium:

Here again with the wide black ribbon, which I intend to replace someday, as I have no desire to wear it like this:

Hatophile, the 'stately' has a full 3 inch brim, way wide for wearing the hat as a regular fedora fashion accessory. For functionality regarding the amount of sun exposure one can get attending an SEC game at Neyland stadium, it works great, and in spite of the width, it is a lot more fashionable than quite a few other 'game day' accessories I have seen, so I wear either hat proudly - on game day. I edited my above post to state the brim width for the stately.
