It is with great reluctance that I finally admit that south Texas is not ideal for leather jacket wear. I've worn this less than 10 times in the 6 years I've owned it. It is in great shape with no holes or tears in leather or liner. I asked John Chapman about the leather and he told me it is cowhide. Measurements are as follows:
Chest - 24.5"
Sleeves - 25.25"
Shoulders - 19.75"
Back length - 24.6"
I am asking $1000 shipped in continental US.

It is still for sale. Unfortunately I don't know if it is chrome or veg tanned. I emailed John from Goodwear about this jacket and asked for whatever details he could give.
This was his reply regarding the leather: "Thanks, and I remember making that jacket back in 2015. It's made with cowhide, which has an aniline finish, and a somewhat heavy weight. It's more grainy than what I usually find in cowhide."

Hi - is this jacket still available? I'm interested - but have a couple of questions: John of Goodwear's memory was that this jacket is somewhat heavier weight - what is your thought on that? (I'm looking for something around mid weight). Does this jacket drop down in front (eg is the front several inches lower than the back?) - I can't tell from the pictures. (not something I really want).

I would consider this to be a medium weight. It is a tad lighter than the Freewheelers Mulholland in Shinki leather I had. The front is longer than the back which is a typical half-belt fit. It is not as severe as some half-belts.

I can live with that (I don't ride - 2 wheels anyway) - the specs on this and my bod line up :) and this is a real good way not to have to wait 18 months. What is the bottom hem (sweep I think it is called) dimension? I'm new here - what's the process re how I pay for this?

GLWS. If those sleeves were longer I think I’d snap it up.

Cant believe it’s not already sold.
