Hello Folks.. This is my first post.. ;)

I currently own a J-100 from Real Mccoy , and i am very happy with the Jap horsehide.

I was gonna purchase a J-25 but i dont like the Swing back feature. (i know lot of loungers like it, just not my thiing sorry :( )

That's when i happen to read the good wear post from this forum. The Ventura jacket from Good wear can give me the look of wat i want perhaps with
some modfication from John, like more plain back that would make my dream come true.

i also think of putting two different leather into one. any feedback is welcome.
My idea is below

I toyed around with the idea of making a two-tone Ventura that was light russet HH with seal brown HH highlights on the pocket welts, half-cuffs, halfbelt, and collar. I still like the idea and you're free to steal it. I don't care as much for the arms being entirely a different color from the body, however. When I've seen vintage two-tone jackets, they did it more the way I am suggesting. Your way is cool too.
