According to the old telephone exchange link above, one of the little burgs I drive through on my way to work, called Munger, had MUnger as its exchange. How convenient.

Expensive things

I was speaking to a chap I know who values old books for a charity shop and he said he was surprised that a telephone directory from 1948 was fetching over £70!
