Golden Brown CXL FQHH

Hello good folks of TFL
Looking for expert advise, if any of us has an idea if Aero stocks this specific CXL FQHH color? Really like this color, & don't really prefer the brown CXL which Aero currently offers, which is more reddish brown, somewhere between what I want and Cordovan #8

This particular Schott Jacket, P623H was limited edition & sold out long back.

it's hard to tell on monitors because the colors rarely show up as true, but the brown CXL Sheene I got over the summer is about this color. Very deep milk chocolate brown. I wouldn't use the term "red" at all in describing it.

I had a brown CXFQ sheene, which was quite reddish

Horrible lighting here. But just to keep the reference the same. Of the two photos you posted (Schott vs. Aero), mine is closer to the Schott color;

I have this jacket, and just love the color. This is CXL Steerhide, not HH

ah ok. Yes, mine would be more darker brown. This looks like a mid brown. I would say I'm getting a little bit of that color with the creases and breaking in, but it's more of an accent color. The overall color remains darker brown.

Exactly, this is quite close or exactly the same color as Havana CXL steerhide offered by SB. I have dropped a message to Denny asking if Aero will be able to offer this color in FQHH. Will share once I have an answer. Maybe I should check with SB as well

JL 3.5oz brown CXL HH. I think this is way off of the shade of brown you are after.

The more pics I look at, the more I think that Horween is using the same CXL colors on both their horse and steer hides. The difference might be in batches, camera exposure or maybe the different hides take to the color just a little differently.

It’s not Shinki, but I do think that their Milan comes close.

As for my JL, I think I will go with the same leather as yours - my only hesitation now is wondering if it is too similar to the shade of (Shinki pigment) I have in order with FL. I’m sure that to my wife’s untrained eye, it will seem a little nutty that I am getting two ‘identical’ jackets (though forumites will see night and day differences between the two jackets).

That or maybe the Horween Lux might be the most comparable to it as some members who have had a SB jacket in that leather.

I have a sample of the brown pigment and it's a darker shade of brown and it has a lot more sheen to it. I'd say a completely different look and yes to us here it will be entirely something else lol
