Anyone have any leads toward a Golden Age themed screensaver for a PC? There used to be one with Windows 98 Themes, but I don't know where I'd find something like that now.

Thanks in advance!

I have a DIY screen saver on my Mac - I put a load of pictures into a folder and selected the folder in the Screen Saver option in System Preferences. At the moment I have Spanish Civil War posters but I've previously had photos of dead R&B and jazz musicians.

For the Mac users, Stuffit Expander will extract the .exe files on the German site. I downloaded them to my desktop, double-clicked on them, picked Expander when asked what application I wanted to choose, and they opened just fine.

Windows XP has a screensaver called My Pictures Slideshow (right click on the desktop, select Properties, click the screensaver tab, then select it from the drop-down list). It'll cycle through all the pictures in your My Pictures directory. You can use the settings button to change the folder holding the photos you want, how long before the pictures change, how large, what transition between photos, etc.

Mr. Sable go to www.webshots.com and downlaod the FREE screensaver/wallpaper program. It is infinitely variable in features from length of time each image is shown to the many transitional sweeps from image to image.

You can load it with any images you want and make your own stuff. I have about 2,500 classic cars plus many classic aircraft and much more from old buildings to old celebrities.
