giving up

Giving up on finding a 7 1/2 whippet any time soon.
The problem is I would like one now, not in a year when I may or may not stumble across a 7 1/2.
When I do find them they are long gone...

Who would be a good choice to recreate a 7 1/2 LO?
Any vendors known for their whippets?

Stetson is just about to re-issue what looks like a very nice new Whippet in the classic mold. Give it a little time until we see what they are offering for the 2014-2015 catalog.

Hatco does make a Whippet now. Its a C crown shape and has sold very well over the past few seasons. I don't know how well all of these new open crown hats are actually doing outside of the Fedora Lounge crowd. The general public doesn't seem to want tall crowns now.

II believe Art Fawcett has made several Whippet clones for people like you, looking for a large size. I can vouche for the fact that I've sent Art photos of less well known hats and he's had no trouble copying them.
