I don't like acronyms either. Loungers don't use them nearly as much as the vast majority of other sites. Took me a while to get used to a wedding site I was a member of for a few years; girls there used MIL a lot (mother-in-law) and many others. It was often all alphabet soup to me. FOB is father of the bride, in case anyone was wondering, and FH is future hubby.

Thank you, John in Covina. Sometimes the acronyms are shorthand, but most of the times they are code. My wife works in an unusual environment in government, and they speak in so many acronyms that it is barely English.
