Hi Ladies,

Can anyone point me towards any girly laptop cases that don't cost a million? I hate black businessey ones, and would like one with a vintage or rockabilly vibe - even (EEK!) cherries or something! :) HA!

Thanks!

Here is a cute leopard print bag:

If I had seen this when I was looking (and didn't mind sacrificing my back for fashion), I might have bought one of these because I adore the 2 tone look:

But instead I bought this style Franklin Covey rolling case on eBay:

enjoy!

What's your budget?

Leather? Cloth? Retro design or modern?

Size of laptop case required? (I have a 17" laptop screen and there are limited choices for my size laptop, which is why I ask. I'll be downsizing my screen size later this year and passing on my laptop to a co-worker).

Thanks for the links I will check them out! I also found these and this.

Budget - under $100. And I'm not sure of the screen size (bad geek!) because it was a gift. I'll check.

Search for vintage briefcases and attache cases on Ebay. There are lots at reasonable prices.

I bought my boyfriend a lovely 1950s British book bag/attache case for Christmas from a local vintage retailer for $30.

I've been thinking about getting one of the classic Cambridge Satchel Company satchels for my work laptop. Has anyone ever had one? Do they age well? Patina? Large enough to hold a 15" MacBook Pro?

I just found a review of both the Cambridge and another leather satchel here. Sounds like the Cambridge isn't large enough to hold the behemoth that is the MacBook Pro. Poo.

I got one for my birthday last year. It is lovely and gets loads of comments! The leather is quite hard and stiff, so I am looking forward to seeing how it ages. It is definitely big enough for a laptop.

Puzzicato, the reviews I read said that the 14" Cambridge would comfortably hold a 13-14" laptop but not the wide screen MacBook Pro. I would rather have a smaller laptop but they give us the larger one for work and I have to schlep it back and forth a lot, sadly. So I will continue to hunt for a non-nylon, retro-styled laptop bag.

I might get a Cambridge Satchel anyway because they are just so stunning!
