Girls' clothes 1940's - Cab needs help!

Try looking in the Children's Section of the Vintage Pattern category on Ebay. Even if you don't happen to know a sewer, it will give you images of what children would have worn back then, then you can find modern clothing that looks similar if you're on a tight schedule. Also try thrift stores. Old school uniforms can look very 1940's. A ribbon in the hair, some mary jane black patent leather shoes, and some white tights, and you've got a classic look for a 40's girl.

There are a few pics of my great aunt as a child in the 40's. Not sure what side of 40's you're looking for.. but she was about 11 years old in a couple of these pics (1941)
