I'm not big on rating things as 'best' since it all depends on criteria which is movable and mood which is changeable. If I were to buy another jacket I would consider almost any jacket in a light weight leather that could be had for a good deal.
Some of the 'best' jackets I have seen or owned were not very well made - like a cool vintage Brooks CR - much is more useful to me in this climate than any heavy weight Vanson or LW monster.
