Years ago I started combining photos made during WW2 and photos made in the same spot today.
To me this was a research tool to help me find out about some rare and unique photos I had found on the flea market.
The result got a lot of attention on the internet and when I found out that other people were doing the same, I got very inspired and made a few more.
Recently these went 'viral', as modern people say, and they got a lot of attention worldwide.
And as someone mentioned them in another topic, I thought I'd post a little about them here if nobody minds.
