SANFORD, Fla. -- A historic home believed to be haunted by the ghost of an elderly woman who moves items and slams cabinets shut is for sale in Sanford, according to a Local 6 News report.

Realtor Ronda Christiansen said a woman apparently haunting the 1921 home is friendly and has listed the home as being a home with a ghost.

It seems that ghosts may stay attached to items they loved in life, rocking chairs being mentioned here.

Perhaps one day I'll notice Open Roads and Stratoliners on the market, priced well due to inexplicably creeped out owners?

I'm convinced that the cemetery I sometimes visit and take photographs in (I went yesterday) is haunted.

I have an uncle that used to dig graves (even at night) and he said he never saw one ghost. I don't know what to think of the ghost thing. I've been trying to rexamine my thoughts on souls and the "supernatural" and so on. Religions of the world seem to agree that people (and other livin' creatues) have a spirit of some kind or another. However, some think there is no such thing and when we die, we die and nothing more.

I personally don't believe this. I don't know what the "afterlife", if you can indeed call it that, holds nor do I think anyone can really say because you'd have to die to find out.

There is alot to examine there, it gets real heavy too. :( It just doesn't make sense that when people die that's it, finished! That would imply that I am nothing more than flesh and bone, that my feelings and thoughts are just chemicals and signals moving around in the brain and I'm just an organism destined to live, procreate and die and nothing more. I can feel my being, I know I exist and I also know others exist around me. O.K. I gotta stop now. Excuse me, I've just been thinking about this stuff for a while. I had to get something out. [huh]

Of course we are more than just a bunch of accidental chemical reactions. I know from personal experience. Also, theoretical physics is just scratching the surface of the workings of the universe. String theory for instance purports that there are at least 11 parallel dimensions in space/time. Also there are different types of matter which can inhabit the same space as physical matter that we can see, at the same time. The spirit within the physical.
The world at large thinks that this is all unreal,...crazy. I think it's crazy to ignore the universe, because they are literally ignoring eternity.

And Buckaroo Banzai proved that there's at least eight. ;)

And in related news...

The dead are spooking actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and her Ghost Whisperer cast and crew by making blink-and-you'll-miss-them appearances in frames of film. Editors behind the scenes of the hit TV show, in which the actress speaks to ghosts, have started spotting sinister images when they check back through film.

Producers think that perhaps the dead 'extras' are trying to tell loved ones they've left behind they're OK, and so they've posted the split-second cameos on the show's official website.
