GH Bass 'Quail Hunter Boots'

Does anyone know anything about these boots or for that matter GH Bass - other than what Wikipedia says of course.

I know its a long established brand. I don't know how things are with them now, I've noticed a lot of their products showing up in TK Maxx's over the last year or so here in the UK.

I tried a pair of brogues from there at a very cheap price, they seemed well enough made but were too narrow a fit for me. (Not sure I'd've thought they were quite worth the kind of retail prices listed on the website - they felt quite mass market, not cheap as such but at the same time, nothing special.)

My Bass Weejuns are from them. They're the EU licensee of the Bass brand. Nicr loafers, well worth the discounted £50 I paid, but I don't know that I'd pay gbp135, which is full pruce for the loafers. I suspect a bit of brand tax in there. Those boots look nice, though.

Thank you gents in that case I'll pass on them unless I find a pair in TKMaxx or a charity shop.
