Is it the turn of "Get Smart" to be remade now?

Another day and another remake in Hollywood you just have to stand around that town long enough and somebody is going to re shoot Walt Disney's "Ferdinand the Bull" starring the cream of the cream of today's Hollywood. I'm over it.

I've never seen this film all the way through. But I have to admit, I can't think of another modern actor who could even come close to Don Adams in the role. (Recall Steve Carrell's hilarious turn as "Uncle Arthur"-as-played-by-Paul Lynde in the movie of Bewitched. Dynamite stuff.)

I always wanted to see Adams play something serious. No, not Macbeth or Long Day's Journey Into Night, now, but a straight role in a cop drama. With the right script and director, it might have been quite interesting.
