I lean mostly to old school recipes but this one ranks right up there.
Left Hand Cocktail
Bartender Sam Ross marries two classics here—the Negroni and the Manhattan—to make a modern one. It's named after Lefty, an Italian-American character in "Donnie Brasco."
Ingredients
2 oz Bourbon, Elijah Craig
3⁄4 oz Sweet vermouth, Carpano Antica Formula
3⁄4 oz Campari
2 ds Bitters, Bittermens Xocolatl Mole
1 Maraschino cherry (as garnish)
Instructions
Stir, stain, straight up, cocktail glass, garnish
It is from the only new cocktail book that I consider to be worth having:

Enjoy!
