This is an early 30s motorcycle jacket. Goatskin, moleskin lining, bakelite buttons, Riri zippers.

Hilbert 20's/30's Motorcycle Coat. Hilbert itself is no longer into production but a nice Repro made by Noble_House: *

* I recently vistited Ulm / DE and took the opportunity to visit noble_house. Actually I am not a fan of the Leather Jackets I have seen online on their Webpage. Anyway, I thought a visit couldn't hurt. I have to say I'm thrilled with the Hilbert Jacket. It's really hard to tell apart from an Original. Luckily I am able to judge that fact, because I owned an Original years ago. The Price is also excellent, of course this is only possible with Production in south america. The Jacket is made from Steerhide sourced in Paraguay and dyed through, like the Original.

For the other Jackets in their Selection, I have to say price/performance ratio is very good. The leather of the Dustbowl Jacket also impressed me a lot. Unfortunately, the hardware used is not an option for me, a few more $$ would be well spent here.

Regarding to my other leather jackets I have, well I'm on a different path... As I said, I was only focused on the Hilbert jacket and paid little attention to the other Jackets. But I think Noble_House jackets are good entry-level products for our Hobby.

I've looked but I can't find a thread dedicated to Germany motorcycle jackets. Harro and Haelson are some of the more familiar makers that come to mind but there were many more and they've made some pretty cool stuff.
Great idea for a thread, Marc. In my almost 17 years here, I haven't seen a thread dedicated to German motorcycle jackets.

I love that two-tone one. It carries a lot of details that seem to be very characteristic among the German jackets I've seen - the subtle two-tone and the stitching on the shoulders / elbows particularly.

Right! You can tell by just a quick glance that it’s German or at least takes design inspiration from German mc jackets.
