How much was the suit? Well, in inflationary '20s Germany, its price would have been 280,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 marks.

you forgot ",000" to be correct :D

'T went for about 150 euros, i think. And it wasn't a small suit! It had about a 35 waist, if i remember, with the jacket at about a 42 chest, or so. (i may be remembering wrong).

Were it in my size i wouldn't have gone for it. I've not quite worked out how to deal with german sellers who don't accept paypal (like this one). A large proportion of ebay.de sellers do not accept paypal.

I'll keep a look out for you, Root. I saw a Belt Back SBPL (large-ish) go for 20 euros, or so.

p.s. here's ane fur ye. Put KNICKERBOCKER into the online translator (altavista babel fish, preferrably). post the result here. If i remember correctly you'll get a laugh. I'll give ye that yin fur free.

p.p.s. Just remembered. With knickerbockers, translate from German to english. Also matchbox. I think that one comes out crazy too. But matchbox from english to german ...
