J. Hückel´s Söhne Standard "Loden", Point 6, NOS condition, probably 1930s factory stock. This one is from my latest Czech find and everything about it is fantastic (in my opinion :) )!

I wish he was mine! Wonderful hat !!
I completely agree! Fantastic!

This is my latest Czech find. There are 20 hats (Brüder Böhm, J.Hückel´s Söhne, TONAK, Janyška) and 4 hat holders (Anton Peschel Neutitschein, Brüder Böhm,, Janyška). All of the hats are NOS open crown and range from the later 1930s to late 1950s. Including a couple rare Brüder Böhm Soft Felt Wool hats and a Brüder Böhm hat holder.
I have only one word: Stupefacente!
It is marvellous to see twenty hats from Central Europe (MittelEurope) in one bunch so well conserved and so differents in brands and shape.
I will wait to see them in pictures one by one.
Vivissimi complimenti Steve!

Had the Grimm Brothers been born 100 years from now, I'm sure they would have written a fairytale about The Hat Dowser From Schwarzwald. A strange speaking man, equipped with a hare's foot and a beaver's tail, dowsing around the hills at full moon - while keeping the howling wolves at distance with his shining sabre :D

Steve, you sure are special! I don't understand how you find all those fine hats. The chase must be a giant job on it's own, and I really appreciate the enormous task you place upon yourself, showing and teaching us about your finds. You are a fantastic asset to us all. Thanks :)
