As the saying goes: those sitting close to the fire warm themselves best! Good score.

Hey Martin, I don't know this brand and never heard of the Burggraf Qualität - maybe Steve knows - but what caught my eye: in the middle of the logo is a coat of arms with three antlers of a stag - this is the ancestral coat of arms of Württemberg. I thought directly of Mayser, but there is no obvious connection. So I don't know if that helps at all....This time i need help .
@mayserwegener
Steve, you know some about this hat?
Or maybe someone else? I have no info to this.. only found this logo as Trumpf?!?
But for Trumpf is too young i think.

I know Andreas Peter. He is the "Stadtwächter" and has a shop in the city. The "Stadtwächter-Stübchen" where you can buy many many books and historic cards. He also sends items so maybe i ask him if he has still some books or if it will be reprinted .

I'll give that a go just to be sure. Thank you, Martin!https://zefys.staatsbibliothek-berlin.de/list/title/ddr/2612273X/-/1949/
archive of neue zeit with "Die Hutmacher"

as the book was taken from it
Martin, Thanks! My issue is checking for bad links on my website and making the changes.Steve, i meant if you still have the old links , on archive.org you can put them and archive.org shows you because they do archives of sites to different times... So there you can still find everything if site closed or whatsoever...

The Internet don't forget
Martin, My feeling (construction, components, some of the labels) is Gubener Hüte GmbH. I don't think it goes back to the GDR. I have some of these hats in storage. I can find out for sure who made it but my main focus is 1950s and earlier.This time i need help .

Thats a real nice one.P. & C. Habig Wien "Special", P. & C. Habig's "Special Qualität, Reine Handarbeit", 58 cm, possibly 1930s late 1920s and reworked later. There is no paper label but the Liner is stitched in so if reworked it was possibly in the 1950s. The Felt has a Natural finish but a soft hand. The Sweatband, Liner and Band are of very high quality.
Open Crown
I have a NOS condition P. & C. Habig Wien "Special", P. & C. Habig's "Special Qualität, Reine Handarbeit Berlin Friedrichstr. 82a" that has very similar components and from about the same time period. This is definitely one of my finest hats.
